Los Diego Hotel Mystery Sender.

This 1925 photo postcard of the Los Diego Hotel was recently donated to the Carlsbad Historical Society  by   Jancie K. from Vista. This postcard was sent to her Great Uncle Louis Delpy  who was living at the time in Los Angeles from a Carlsbad Resident and left unsigned. The Los Diego Hotel was built in 1925 by R.  G. Chase on the corner of State and Grand. State Steet was the main through fair at the time through Carlsbad. The name was an attempt to indicate the hotel was half way between Los Angeles and San Diego – thus Los Diego.
