You and your guests are invited to join us for an hour long docent-guided tour at Rancho Buena Vista Adobe near the new City Hall in Vista on Thursday August 18th at 10:30 AM. This historic adobe ranch house dating from 1852, lived in continually until the 1980’s, is furnished relating to the periods of its history. An art gallery and gift shop are a bonus to this early Mexican land grant adobe, purchased by the City of Vista in 1989. Admission is $4.00 for adults, $3.00 for seniors and $1.00 for students. Directions: Hwy 78 to Civic Center Dr, north to Alta Vista Dr. and turn right. Adobe entrance is on your immediate left. Plenty of parking is found in the City Parking Lot across Alta Vista Dr. from the Adobe entrance or on Alta Vista Dr. For planning purposes, you are requested to contact Dr. Jerry Colling at 760-729-1814 or on line firstname.lastname@example.org with your names, phone numbers and those of your guests by Monday, August 15th.
After our tour at the Adobe, any of us who enjoy excellent Mexican food can go to La Paloma Restaurant just to the west of the Adobe, off City Center Drive.
The adobe will also be showing an arts exhibit by people from the Vista arts group.
